Spotify Q1 revenue hits €4.5B as net income surges to €721M on operating leverage
Spotify Technology filed interim condensed consolidated financial statements for the three months ended March 31, 2026. Revenue increased 8% year over year to €4.53 billion from €4.19 billion, while cost of revenue rose to €3.04 billion, producing gross profit of €1.50 billion. Operating income grew to €715 million from €509 million in Q1 2025, and income before tax reached €937 million versus €328 million a year earlier. Net income attributable to owners of the parent was €721 million, or €3.50 basic EPS and €3.45 diluted EPS, compared with €225 million and €1.10 basic EPS in the prior-year quarter.
