Briefing

Loma Negra Q1 2026: ARS 218.7B net revenue, ARS 40.6B net profit as cement volumes hold in Argentina

Loma Negra reported Q1 2026 net revenues of ARS 218.7 billion (amounts in thousands of pesos), roughly flat versus ARS 216.3 billion in Q1 2025, with gross profit of ARS 57.0 billion. Net profit for the period rose to ARS 40.6 billion from ARS 28.2 billion, and earnings per share were ARS 70.27 versus ARS 48.80 a year ago. Results reflect Argentina's hyperinflation accounting (IAS 29) and a ARS 32.9 billion gain on net monetary position that partly offset exchange losses. The cement producer maintained eight plants domestically while navigating InterCement parent reorganization and ongoing Ferrosur rail concession uncertainty.

  • Net revenues were ARS 218.7B with net profit of ARS 40.6B, up from ARS 28.2B in Q1 2025
  • Basic EPS rose to ARS 70.27 from ARS 48.80 on stronger bottom-line performance
  • Gain on net monetary position of ARS 32.9B helped offset ARS 12.0B in net financial expense
  • CapEx of ARS 9.7B on property, plant and equipment; parent InterCement completed Brazilian reorganization in April 2026
