Danaos Corporation reported second quarter 2025 operating revenues of $262.2 million, up 6.4% from $246.3 million a year ago, as newbuilding container vessel additions and higher utilization offset lower charter rates and reduced non-cash revenue recognition. Net income was $130.9 million, or $7.14 basic and $7.12 diluted EPS, compared with $141.2 million and $7.30 basic EPS in Q2 2024. Income from operations was $125.5 million versus $140.0 million. The fleet averaged 74 container vessels and 10 Capesize drybulk vessels with 98.4% container utilization. The company held $546.2 million in cash, $3.5 billion in contracted charter revenue, and recognized a $14.7 million gain on its Star Bulk investment.
