TAL Education Group reported net revenues of $575.0 million for the first fiscal quarter of 2026 ended May 31, 2025, up 38.8% from $414.2 million a year ago. The company returned to operating profitability with income from operations of $14.3 million versus a $17.3 million loss in the prior-year quarter. Non-GAAP operating income was $25.1 million. Net income attributable to TAL was $31.3 million compared with $11.4 million, and non-GAAP net income was $42.0 million. Basic and diluted EPS were $0.05 per ADS; non-GAAP EPS was $0.07. Gross margin expanded to 54.9% from 51.7% on strong demand for learning services and new AI-powered device models including the P4, S4, and T4. Cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments totaled $3.47 billion, and deferred revenue rose to $967.9 million.
