Klarna Q3 revenue rises 28% to $903M but credit losses push net loss to $95M
Klarna Group reported third-quarter 2025 total revenue of $903 million, up from $706 million a year ago, driven by 19% growth in transaction and service revenue to $634 million and 55% growth in interest income to $269 million. Operating expenses rose 42% to $986 million, led by a $235 million provision for credit losses (up from $116 million) and higher processing, funding, and marketing costs, producing an operating loss of $83 million versus operating profit of $13 million in Q3 2024. Net loss was $95 million ($0.25 diluted EPS) compared with net profit of $12 million ($0.05 EPS) in the prior-year quarter. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $6.8 billion at September 30, 2025.
